Doten Diaries Online

A collaborative effort between the UNR Libraries and Department of History brings an important primary source of early Nevada history to the web. The 3-volume transcriptions of Alfred Doten’s daily chronicle from 1849-1903, edited by Walter Van Tilburg Clark, published by the University of Nevada Press in 1973 and long out of print, is now freely available for the first time in a full-text searchable format online.
